Straight talk. These are convenience tags for your records. They are not a replacement for the implanted 134.2 kHz microchip or the official USDA 840 / scrapie ID tag — keep those. Phones can't read 134.2 kHz chips, which is why these are 13.56 MHz (NTAG215, iPhone + Android). Linking and scanning tags is part of HerdWise Pro (free trial). Any 13.56 MHz tag works with the app; ours are built in-house and guaranteed to work right out of the box.
